Outlook icon in system tray area, running in background. How to remove?
Recently when I exit Outlook (2003) the icon appears in my system tray area. Not all of the time, but I see it more and more lately there. Apparantly Outlook is still running, just minimized there.
I've made no general changes to Outlook specific changes lately and I am extremely careful (and very selective) on installing software which might 'turn something on/off' without me knowing it. Be that as it is, I can't figure out what setting (registry or check box) turns this off. I know it used to NOT do this but I can't recall when it started.
I want Outlook to exit (completely) when I exit the program. I'm tired of looking. Help.
