My configuration :
Windows 7 professional 64 bit
I am getting error ora-12560 TNS :protocol adapter error while connecting to Oracle 11g

Hello,

A lot of things to check. See if you have listener running on your database. Try to use the tnsping to see if there's connection.

And of course let us know what tool are you using to connect: SQLPlus, OEM?
