In word 95 or word 97, it there any default setting so that NO macro will execute while opening a document? I think this setting is helpful to prevent my doc from infecting macro virus. thanks. alanpong@hkstar.com
Solution: How to disable word macro by default?
With Word 97, you will be presented with a warning messagebox asking you if you want to disable any automatic macros. With both versions however, holding down the shift key when you are opening the file, will cause the startup to ignore any AutoOpen macros.
